If you think about it, when it is your time to swing, there is not an ashtray around to place that lit cigar. So what do you do with your cigar? Ask someone to hold it for you? What if you are playing solo?

Well, here is a great gadget which will assist you in such a premise. The heater holder can be a useful place to place your cigar if it is your turn on the green. Some may call it a weird gadget to find in the golf course but for the golfers who put premium in enjoying cigar while golfing, this is a good device to find on the courses.

The small metal cigar holder attaches to the snaps atop golf bags that are normally designed to secure a rain cover. The basic version sells for $25, but other models are available in silver, sterling silver, and gold for those looking for a little more flash. It also features a chain that attaches to your bag, so that you won’t lose the Heater Holder if you knock it off the snaps. The device is perfect for those who prefer to walk the course, but isn’t as useful if you strap your clubs to the back of a motor cart.

To most of us, getting hold of touch screen technology seems to be far off. At the moment, there is no news on whether this dream of most people as far as advanced and easier computing technology is within reach. Microsoft is aware of this and while the Bill Gates’ empire normally aims to satisfy all we can do right now is wait and see.

But to some people, technology can be visualized and conceptualized according to what they are looking for. Technology makes thing easier and with the joint minds of professionals who are apparently trying to send a message across, these concepts, imaginations and innovations may one day pave the way to the much sought after technology that makes future computing a dream for every person known to operate computers masterfully.

One thing about people with gadgets is that they want sustainable stuff that will not pose a problem when they are at home. Gadgets come in all shapes and sizes and among them include portable universal remote controls that are use to operate you television, stereo, DVD player or any standard home entertainment system from afar. But the problem starts when you are out of batteries to use, especially if they are used up.

Some would use the rechargeable batteries while others have spare ones on hand. But why wait for such an inconvenience when you can get one of these EZ Power Wind Up Universal Remotes?

“Bringing an end to the frustration of remote controls running out of juice at the crucial moment, this revolutionary remote control does away with batteries, replacing them with an eco-friendly wind-up alternative. Thirty turns is enough to fully charge the unit, and a full charge lasts for seven days. The Wind-Up Remote Control can be used to operate the following: Cable Box Satellite Television DVD VCR and an auxiliary appliance. The remote control comes with full instructions on how to programme it for all major branded appliances.”

Other than being unique, it is bound to solve a lot of issues for you. Check it out!

Many of us are familiar with James Bond and the gadgets he uses in his movies. But while we are wondering on the reality of these gadgets, there are products in the market which can bring you close to getting the international spy feeling. In this case, it is about storage where a tiny USB can be stored underneath a watch.

This USB drive can store up to 4GB. But while that is already a large storage capacity space, you have to wonder how tiny it is to be inserted into a wristwatch. It may be cool in the sense that it can be a safe place to hide. On the other hand, it may not be so cool if you misplace it. Considering its size, chances are you may not rely on it as much as you are sure to lose it if you are not careful.

Gadgets, mobile phones in particular, have had their share of issues as far as being damaged because of accidentally being dropped in water. Apparently this is something that no sane person would do. Considering the circuits and sensitive parts inside these modern gadgets, who in his right mind would want to check out how it can fare under water?

While that issue is something that has cost people a lot, there is this video that claims to make any gadget waterproof. All it takes is a special coating from Golden Shellback and you can make calls by the pool without getting worried if you accidentally drop it in the pool.

Quite a revolutionary idea but I presume that this was made primarily to avoid technical problems as far as gadgets which accidentally get wet. Here is a video to show it better. It may save you a lot in potential repair expenses for your phone when the time comes.

Forgot to shave? Well if you are always on the go, particularly when you have to rush to the office, chances are you will find electric shavers to help you shed off that excessive facial hair. But one thing that perhaps most men would want to make sure is that they shave cleanly which may not be necessarily what current electric shavers can do.

But with the Remington Titanium 36 R5130 Electric Shaver, the busy businessman may yet get that proper groomed look and save himself the time of getting rid of excess facial hair.

Aside from being an affordable electrical shaver, it allows the potential owner 30-minutes shave time from a 90-minute charge. Its 360 rotary shaving 3 head feature will make sure that all facial hair will be covered. It is likewise equipped with the fully flexing neck pivots to adjust to the contours of your face.

The models will be available around September and cost £139.99 for the R7130, £89.99 for the R6130 and £69.99 for the R5130.

People today are obviously fascinated with gadgets. Features and the things that they can do, you are sure to see people wanting a piece of them even if it means shelling out hundred of dollars to get one. They range from mobile phones, portable computers and game consoles that really get the public’s attention.

But while you are dreaming and are preoccupied with them, always leave some allowance for sanity. Gadgets still have limitations and apparently most people could care less. As long as they own the latest mobile phone or game console, they could care less. Analyze it a bit closer and you can find that there are a lot fo things consider and this includes reality checks.

Do not forget you still have a life. There are responsibilities and tasks to be done. Divide that line and be sure to discipline yourself on when to use gadgets and when to divert your attention to the real life in front of you.

The rush of new technology that is flooding our lives can be overwhelming sometimes and it would be unkind not to forgive ourselves for being a bit too excited about the changes that are sweeping over us. However, there is a danger in expecting too much from technology, investing too many hopes in its ability to solve our day-to-day problems and counting on technology to save the day.

At times, we normally look for good solutions to help maintain the level of projection and outlook that our gadgets have. Ranging from cellphones all the way towards laptops and mobile devices, you will surely come across “cleaning solutions” which may eventually be no better than the average alcohol or tap water.

Packaging takes up much of the cost for getting these solutions. While this is not to generalize that cleaning solutions are ripping us out of our money, it is a common practice today. Branding and packaging are what is important and with a market craving crazy for ensuring gadget upkeep, do not be surprised if you are paying more for the outside appearance rather than the content.

Sad but true, this is a reality. Gadgets are the focus of most people today and apparently wise thinkers will take advantage even if it means providing lesser quality for products supposedly aimed at making our line of gadgets retain their luster.

For the people who have always admired the smartphone, watch out for the HTC Touch Pro which is bound to leave you speechless. It is typified as a thicker Touch Diamond with a full 5-row slide-out keyboard hidden inside.

It is indeed something to wish for as we all know how gadget freaks love to be the first to have them. Small and compact as it may seem, it is simply astounding as far as presentation is concerned. It is a lot thicker and heavier than the Touch Diamond and what is striking about it is the QWERTY keyboard in full.

The keys on the Touch Pro are certainly smaller than those found on devices like HTC’s Wing for T-Mobile or its Tilt for AT&T, but they are still very usable – much more so than those found on Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Xperia X1. They have a very good feel to them and are easy to find by touch even though they are all snugly lined up right next to each other.

We all know that at the moment, most lighting solutions for our homes have been aggressively shifting towards using compact fluorescent bulbs to save on energy consumption. But while that is a given, many people cannot avoid but think if the traditional lighting given by incandescent bulbs would still be around. To them, it is more on ambiance rather than energy consumption.

However, with the right considerations, you can still get the right ambiance and atmosphere you are looking for. It goes way beyond the usual lamps and equipment. CFL bulbs also come in different watts and styles and apparently this can make up for the traditional bulbs that really made any room a fitting place to be in.

A compact fluorescent, on the other hand, uses volts to stimulate electrons in an excitable substance — usually mercury vapor gas — and is up to six times more efficient. But there’s a catch: The light it creates is in the invisible UV range. That’s why CFL makers coat the insides of the glass tubes with a phosphorescent material that makes the glow visible. And while CFLs get a bad rap for harsh glare, that coating allows manufacturers to tune the color of light, netting as much — if not more — variety as incandescents. Color temperature in degrees Kelvin is often listed right on the package.
