Steve Jobs has done it again. Owing to the success of the iPod Nano, Apple has reportedly released the latest iPod Nano 4G in the market, thin and eco-friendly and bound to be the next big demand in the gadget market.

While many are still trying to get hold of their own iPods these days, a new version is bound to make them think twice. Expected to be pricier, people now looking at getting their own iPod may want to reconsider getting this new one, advanced, handy and coming with more features as well.

He said: ‘We think these new Nanos are the cleanest toxic-free iPods we’ve ever built.’ They come in aluminium and a range of colours from purple to lime green.

The new Nanos are expected to sell in the UK for ?109 for the 8GB version and ?149 for the 16GB version.

On the working table or perhaps on top of the cabinet, seeing where your iPod or mobile phone is all you would want to see. Thanks to innovations, there are holders in the market and among them include this one called the Gorilla Go Go holder. Once you use it, you are sure not to lose sight of that gadget of yours.

They may seem like a useful piece of aid for the modern gadget freaks today but to the ones who love to enhance and put their gadgets on display, this Gorilla Go Go holder is certainly something that will be a prized find, at home or in the office.

If you class your phone/MP3 player/PDA/digital camera as being far too precious to lie on a dust and dirt ridden desktop (or somewhere equally mucky), or you’re just simply into unique looking tech accessories, the Gorilla Go-Go is definitely worth casting your eye over.

It’s a clever little accessory that’ll hold up virtually any of your gadgets (within reason – it won’t hold your Playstation), with its multiple attachment options such as suction clips and high-bond adhesive clips.

At times we want to take pictures with our phones which are equipped with such a feature. But the problem here is that unlike the usual digital cameras, they don’t have a zoom option to get a better image when we want to shoot certain images. In fact, it limits mobile phones such as our iPhone towards near shots. But that was yesterday’s news.

Welcome the iPhone 3G Mobile Phone Telescope that allows you to go as far as 6X Zoom and extend your shooting power in capturing better images via your iPhone. So the next time you want to get a better shot and avoid the blurry or bad image rendering, just take out that iPhone 3G Mobile Phone Telescope and snap away to your liking!

The new design to run of rays can effectively avoid the contortion of image, and makes the super wide angle, the larger luminous flux, the higher visual acuteness, good for color reduction, which makes the high quality of photography.

The thing about placing videos so that you can watch them anytime on your iPod is that you need the various cable interfaces that may prove to be harrowing or messy at times. The need to plug them in (assuming that the video source accommodates such interfaces) and avoid the messy look of wires can make it a tough task to do.

Here is a good solution though. All you have to do is plug it in the source. The iRecorder allows you to capture any video or anything you may want to store on your iPod and compresses the captured file so that it can be rendered onto any device. With the iRecorder, no longer will you have to worry about conversions and compatibility. Just plug it in the RCA jacks, play it back when you are satisfied and that’s it.

NOTE: For iPhone and iPod Touch users: This device cannot record directly to iPhone or iPod Touch. However, you can record to USB drive and import the recorded video using iTune.

Selling price: £99.95

Same as most gadgets and mobile phones released in the market today, the iPhone is nothing but a matter of distinction for the first people who can own it. As far as overall satisfaction is concerned, you will be surprised at how the iPhone has been causing a lot of headaches to the first owners.

Its software is under scrutiny and the iTune server interface is all screwed up. So what can you do with the iPhone when its flagship features are on the blink? To look at? I doubt anyone who would pay big money for such a gadget to simply have it for display.

People today want to show off and that is exactly one aspect why most people love the iPhone. The iPhone did see to be promising but right now it seems that it was all a wasted effort as far as expectations are concerned. It is still far from being the perfect and ideal phone to have if you put sanity in check!

These are the people dubbed “techno-stylists” by a University of Calgary popular culture expert. They appreciate style, but not in that New York catwalk kind of way. For them it’s gadgets and gizmos.

In one way or another, we are all style-conscious, Rebecca Sullivan said, and that’s not something to be disdained.

“What we wear, how we look, how we move — our accessories to our life — communicate who we are,” the university professor said.

Who could ever forget the Sony Walkman that made the world crave to have this crazy contraption that use to have radio and cassette options? Well, practically 25 years later, we see the rebirth of the once popular gadget that took the world by storm. Back then we saw people wearing headphones listening to stations or their preferred music at will. But today, everything has changed.

Today it has come back as a phone and MP3 player rolled into one. While people are continuously patronizing the much celebrated Apple iPods and MP3 players in the market, this modern Walkman is bound to capture much attention not only because of the familiar brand and name but by the design the integrates handy communication with personal music entertainment.

What lets it down though is the tiny internal memory that comes as standard. You’ll have to buy a memory card for it, but it can take up to 4GB and that should set you back less than £30.

When you consider you can get the phone for free, then it’s not a bad outlay and will let you store a few thousand songs which is far more than you’ll ever get through on the way to college.

The handset has Bluetooth, which means it will also work with wireless stereo headsets, but there’s only a basic camera. It’s fine for taking snaps to email or put on the web but print quality won’t be fantastic.

For the people who have always admired the smartphone, watch out for the HTC Touch Pro which is bound to leave you speechless. It is typified as a thicker Touch Diamond with a full 5-row slide-out keyboard hidden inside.

It is indeed something to wish for as we all know how gadget freaks love to be the first to have them. Small and compact as it may seem, it is simply astounding as far as presentation is concerned. It is a lot thicker and heavier than the Touch Diamond and what is striking about it is the QWERTY keyboard in full.

The keys on the Touch Pro are certainly smaller than those found on devices like HTC’s Wing for T-Mobile or its Tilt for AT&T, but they are still very usable – much more so than those found on Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Xperia X1. They have a very good feel to them and are easy to find by touch even though they are all snugly lined up right next to each other.

Is an ultraportable MacBook up in the works? I’m a big fan of the 12″ Apple PowerBook (a.,k.a., AlBook for its aluminum body). It’s small and durable. Sure, it’s not that power-packed, but well-traveled people really do appreciate being able to carry around small computers. With the prevalence of smaller storage devices and more efficient power architectures, I think Apple should seriously consider introducing an ultraportable, or at least bringing back the small notebook.

Apple Insider cites analyst Gene Munster:

“… we also expect Apple to expand the MacBook lineup with one new model.”

That one new model is expected to be the company’s “smallest portable ever,” according to the analyst. While he was initially expecting an ultra-portable device with an 8- to 11-inch screen, he said his latest round of checks now leads him to believe the device will sport a display of approximately 11- to 13-inches.

“That said, we continue to expect the ‘ultra-portable’ MacBook to be Apple’s thinnest and lightest ever. While it may not be as small as we originally expected, we believe this could be the most consumer-friendly way to expand its current lineup of MacBook portables,” Munster told clients. “It will likely be priced between the $1,099 consumer level MacBook and the $1,999 MacBook Pro.”
